Our Roots. Our Focus. Our Promise. Founded in 2016 in the heart of Dallas-Fort Worth, Alvarado Sod began with little more than Jaime Alvarado’s pickup truck and a relentless work ethic. In those early days, we did it all—mowing, trimming, and landscaping—doing whatever it took to build a reputation for quality.

But we soon realized that to be the best, we had to focus. We traded the lawnmowers for specialized equipment and shifted our entire mission to one thing: Sod. By specializing solely in sod installation, we’ve invested in the advanced machinery, elite crews, and premium materials that general landscapers simply can’t match. Today, Alvarado Sod is a leader in the DFW market, transforming up to 30 properties every month. Whether it’s a commercial development, a new home build, or a residential refresh, we bring a level of precision that only comes from doing one thing and doing it perfectly. We remain a proud family-owned and operated business, ensuring that same "pickup truck" dedication is present from your first consultation to the final piece of sod.
